About Bubble Rock Bubble Rock had its start as a means of promoting music as a pathway to learning. Today it can be your source for the best of children’s educational musical CD’s, as well as song cards and bubble wands. Ronnie Silverstone, founder of Bubble Rock, is a retired LAUSD kindergarten and preschool teacher. About Bubble Rock Productions Inc. Bubble Rock Productions is a 501 (c) 3 organization whose aim is to provide lighthearted, festive musical programming to the greater Los Angeles community. Since our premier season in 1991 with two concerts and 900 attendees, more than 300,000 children, parents and teachers have attended musical field trips in Redondo Beach, Torrance, Citrus, Fullerton, Northridge and Lancaster. Hearing live performances by artists such as Greg & Steve, Charlotte Diamond and Jose Luis Orozco, whose music is part of the elementary school curriculum, reinforces their classroom experiences. With the help of grant money we receive, funds are distributed to local school districts to provide busses to transport special needs students to the concerts. The newest addition to the Bubble Rock Productions family is the Sunday Kid’s Koncert series. Imagine a sunny afternoon at the South Coast Botanic Gardens in Palos Verdes. Families sit on blankets enjoying a pleasant afternoon, waiting for the concert to begin. Children are blowing and chasing bubbles, enjoying parachute play or having their faces painted. Then the music starts and melodies fill the air. Some children sit quietly while others dance and sway to the music. Bring your picnic, blanket and chairs. This series is the only summer event tailored specifically for families with young children in the South Bay. Grant money makes available tickets for families of special needs children and the underserved community to enjoy a carefree summer afternoon. For specific information
